Clark Park is a great place to take the family to enjoy the outdoors. With several trails to access, a playground with slides and swings and a nature center you're sure to find something for everyone.
Playground is suitable for ages 3 and up. My 2 year old needed some help with climbing up some structures. Bridge spacing would be better suited for 4 and over. Mulch is used as a ground covering. There are multiple areas for the kids to explore, all with mulch.
There are several Dinosaurs and other animals scattered around the playground equipment for climbing.
There are 2 regular swings and 2 infant swings available, as well as tire swing. Some of the areas were very wet and muddy especially under the tire swing. Keep in mind when visiting if we have received a lot of rain in days leading up to your visit, it might be a little muddy.
We visited on a Sunday and unfortunately the Nature center was not open. During Summer hours Animal Feedings are offered on Wednesday at 3pm and Saturdays at 2pm.

In front of the Nature center there is a play area for the kids to explore. It's completely shaded and has areas for adults and children to sit. These pans and chimes are available for your littles to beat on and put on a show. Scattered around you will find items for digging, making mud pies, sorting rocks and creative play. Be prepared with extra clothes! You won't be leaving clean!
**Please Note** We noticed on several trees by the playgrounds and by the walking paths there was poison ivy. If you have a child who likes to pick up sticks and wander off the paved paths, you will want to be more cautious.
