Why Gillis Family Farm Should Be Your Next Fall Tradition

By Jennifer Pitts October 6, 2025

Gillis Family Farm has all your favorite fall festivities in one place!

We took our family on opening night, and they didn’t want to leave. From the animal feeding to the corn maze, hayrides, and yard games, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. It’s the perfect spot for making autumn memories with the whole family.

Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by the many fun and colorful painted hay bales scattered throughout the farm — your kids will recognize familiar faces like Bluey, Winnie the Pooh, Stitch, a cow, a pig, and many more!

🎟️ Admission is $13 per person, but military guests and those paying with cash receive $1 off. Children under 2 get in free!
🐐 Feed the animals with a cup of feed for just $1, always a fan favorite.

After you feed the animals, take your chance at getting lost in the corn maze. Be sure to set aside some time — it’s a fun challenge for the whole family! And if little ones get tired (ours did!), there’s a handy emergency exit at the halfway point.

πŸ“Έ There are tons of photo ops throughout the farm! Our favorite was the old truck featuring Jack Skellington — see if you can spot him. The sunflower field is also beautifully set up with a vintage truck and a VW Bug, perfect for capturing those fall family photos.

🚜 And don’t miss the classic hayride, pulled by a tractor, that loops around the farm — it's a fun way to explore the grounds and take in all the festive sights.

πŸŽ‰ And if that’s not enough to keep you busy — there’s more!
There’s a whole area dedicated just to play. Littles can enjoy the covered corn pit, a fun bubble-making station, and test their aim by throwing a football through standing tires. Climb up monster tires and slide down, dig in the sand pit, swing, or take a ride down Sawyer’s Slide!

If your kids are tall enough and brave enough, try the big tube slide, where you ride down while sitting in an inner tube. It was definitely a favorite!

And don’t skip the giant jumping pillow, fun for the kids and mom and dad too!

πŸŽƒ Don’t forget to grab some pumpkins before you leave!
From big to small, and white to orange — they have them all. Mini pumpkins start at just $1, and larger pumpkins are clearly marked by price on the top. You’ll also find fresh produce, snacks, and drinks available for purchase to round out your visit.
